File handling operations in Finder

Hello, after switching form Windows OS to MacOS, I have some difficulty to execute file handling operations similar to what I did with Windows Explorer. Here are some examples of file handling procedures I did with ease in Windows Explorer:

1. Click, then right click+drag to copy/move single/multiple files to another folder

2. Right click on a file/app to create a file/app shortcut on desktop without creating an alias

3. Click on app window on taskbar to bring to foreground, click again to send to background

4. Delete/rename another file while having a window open to save a newly created file to the same location

5. View in a list the whole title of a long filename, not just the start & end parts

6. Show files as icons or thumbnails

7. Alt+Cursor Up: go to previous folder

8. Select a file, then Shift+Delete to delete it permanently (bypass the recycle bin)

All these file operations and more were handled with ease within Windows Explorer but it seems there is no way to do the same in MacOS apps (Finder, Commander+, Folders etc.)? Any info on how perform the same operations in MacOS?

thank you

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.0

1. Click and drag them.

3. Click on the window itself or the Dock icon. To hide them, press the Command and H keys or click the yellow button in the title bar.

5. Increase the width of the Name column, or hover the cursor over the name.

6. Choose that option from the View menu.

7. Press the Command and Up Arrow keys if you mean in the structure, or Left Arrow if you mean chronologically.
