60Hz Polling Rate on Trackpad on M2 Pro MacBook Pro

I have a 14” M2 Pro MacBook Pro and noticed that both the built-in trackpad and my MX Master 3S mouse (connected via the Logi Bolt USB dongle) only achieve a 60Hz polling rate in macOS. This is frustrating because I expected a smoother experience, especially after spending $2200 on this machine.

However, when I use Parallels to run a Windows virtual environment on the same Mac, I can achieve a 120Hz polling rate without any issues. This clearly shows that the hardware is capable of handling higher polling rates, but macOS seems to be limiting it to 60Hz.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution or some settings I might be missing to unlock a higher polling rate in macOS? I’d appreciate any advice or insights to help improve the user interface experience.
