Mac doesn't connect to Homekit, iOS works perfect.

I have a small network, containing a few lights and outlets. My AppleTV serves as the main hub and a HomePod mini was recently installed, which serves as a backup hub.

My MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015) has never been able to connect to Homekit, both before and after the HomePod mini was added. The Home app shows all of my scenes, but says none of my accessories are available. Both my iOS devices and Siri work as expected.

Did you Upgrade to the new Home architecture - Apple Support at some point? Or create the Home after this became a thing? Older devices running older firmware/operating systems are not compatible. Annoyingly Apple don't specify the exact details in that article, but if I recall correctly Macs need to be running Ventura or better.
