Whenever I long press on a TV show to remove it from Up Next, I do not get the option to remove it. My Apple TV is up-to-date. I have tried different remotes. It has worked a few times, but usually when I long press the show the icon is indented and that is all. I have been having this issue since tvOS 16.
Any advice or solutions?

Click-and-hold should still (tvOS 18.0) work inside the Apple TV app’s Up Next listing (not in the Home Screen Top Shelf). Before the 17.2 update, the contextual menu was full screen. It has been much smaller since, showing next to the highlighted tile on a dimmed background, to the right if enough screen space is available, else to the left.

I can’t think of a reason why that would happen for you. Unless someone else chimes in with a new idea, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).
Yes. That is what I do, but I do not get any options. When I long press the show that I would like to remove the shows preview icon gets slightly smaller. A menu does not pop up.
