Apple TV Remote and App
My Apple TV remote only works the volume, nothing else. I have tried re-pairing the remote but it won’t pair again my Apple TV apple app doesn’t work also.

Please verify that you used the intended button combination to pair the remote.

Do you mean the software remote on iPhone (or iPad)? That would be separate (unrelated), and through Wi-Fi instead of bluetooth.
