Did the above and reinstalled the app multiple times, it keeps crashing.
any ideas why?

Google updated this app today - 10/24/2024. Back in business! :)
I contacted Google - their chat person said “contact the developer” - classic.
I posted here to see if anyone else had an issue or fix.
Tried all of the delete, remove, reinstall, restart, check for update steps before I posted here.
Thanks for your replies.
If you restart your device you can use the app for a moment. Maybe a minute if you are lucky. It will still crash but not immediately. I suspect it’s conflicting with some background service that has a delayed start after a phone power cycle.
[ Remove the app, remove any add-on security apps and add-on VPN apps, check for iOS updates, restart the iPhone, re-install the app, and try again. ]
I am trying that way but not woking.
Remove the app, remove any add-on security apps and add-on VPN apps, check for iOS updates, restart the iPhone, re-install the app, and try again.
If that fails, contact Google Support.
I have same issue. Very inconvenient.
Yay. Works fine now with their updated release version

well, depending on the app you are talking about , it might not be Google.
if you mean the official Google Workspace admin app, it hasn’t been updated in 11 months.

I also contacted Google Workspace support and they said to report the app crashing to but it won't allow me to do it. Ridiculous
Google is, well, Google.
They’re an immense advertising and ad-targeting firm.
If Google apps and services are not working for your needs, find a service provider with (better) support.
Ask your managers what they want to do with this.
Contacting Google Support, or finding a vendor with apps and support that better meets your needs, or managing this from a different platform, for instance.
(Google has been known to occasionally abandon projects, though I don’t see this stuff listed.)

For all of y’all running this app, and with dependencies on Google…
How are your local reviews and remediation discussions going?
Whether the results of those are added local iOS testing, delayed updates, migrating away from Google tools, or otherwise?
Because I’d assume this will happen again.
And you’ll inevitably be stuck between your own local iOS-new-version-testing regime, your management requirements, and Google being Google.
Given most of a year since the previous update and given the delay for a critical fix shown in this thread, I’d be concerned about the future of this whole thing at Google, too.
Good time to have a chat with your local management, no?
That would be an excellent question for Google, as it is their application.
The developer is Google, per the app store
