Why is my iPhone 15 pro locking me out for 40 mintes after walking around with my phone in my pocket

I put my iPhone 15 pro in my shirt pocket and walk around for a bit. I pull my iPhone out to use it and it's on a timed lockout

You know why this occurs, correct?

The phone's screen is rubbing against the inside of the pocket as a result of your body movement. This is interpreted as an incorrect passcode entry and after a few failed tries, the phone goes into the timed mode that you see.

Please try the following:

Open Settings

Tap Accessibility

Tap Touch

Turn off Tap to Wake

To wake the phone now, you will have to tap on the Side button.
