ipad pro 13” M4 2024 keeps freezing

I upgraded from the iPad Pro 12.9” (5th gen) to the iPad Pro M4 chip, 1TB, 13” 2024, and it keeps freezing and becomes unresponsive on Chrome, so I have to turn on my iPad with lock and volume up button numerous times a day. This also happens when in other apps like Procreate and Canvas. I have plenty of memory and storage. No other apps are running in the background. I don't understand why. My old iPad performed better than this. I've messaged Apple support about that, and it wasn't helpful. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Do you have any suggestions? I expected a lot more from this iPad with the specs I have, and I'm somewhat let down, which is a shame as I live on my iPad for work and mental health

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Your M4 iPad Pro with 1TB storage also has 16GB RAM. The smaller capacity iPad Pros have 8GB RAM. In short, you should not be experiencing any freezing or locking up on your iPad Pro. iPadOS is also optimized to keep things running smoothly on your iPad Pro.

You are experiencing freezing and lockups on your iPad Pro despite having excellent performance specs available today. Your iPad Pro is still under Apple’s 1YR Limited Warranty.

I recommend that you first 👉 Update your iPad to the latest version of iPadOS. Once updated then check to see whether that resolves the issue that you facing.

If the issue persists then 👉 Backup your iPad Pro on iCloud or on a computer and then 👉 Erase & Restore the iPad to Factory Settings. Once that is completed, then you can 👉 Restore your iPad Pro from the backup that was created in the previously.

If none of the above resolve the issue, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
