How to fix audio glitches on M2 MacBook Pro?

experiencing lots of audio glitches with my M2 MacBook Pro. I have always used Apogee products and I never had any problems with my other two Macs with intel silicone. It all changed with the M2. I was using my Apogee Quartet then and it would continuously drop. Had to unplug and plug again. So I thought maybe the interface is too old. Bought a new $1700 RME interface… and it’s even worse. Clicks and pops, stutters, makes the whole thing unusable. Both of those interfaces are USB, which makes me suspect there’s an issue with audio in and out of the Mac via USB. Then I’ve read there are numerous complaints about this issue… I wonder if anyone has found a solution for this? Or should we switch back to Windows?
