I keep on getting problems and error messages on my iPhone 14 in two of my mail-accounts (error POSIX 60). I have the same mail account om my iMac with no problem whatsoever, and my wife has exactly the same accounts on her iPhone-12-Pro but she also does not have any problem nor any error message. I checked all my account settings, but could not find any abnormalities. How can I solve this problem?

I have the same problem with my iPhone 15. I usually end up deleting the accounts from my phone and re-entering them, but it only works for a day or 2. It'd be nice if they'd fix whatever it is that's causing this.

I have an Avast VPN
i only had this issue after the iOS update 18 today
turning off the VPN allowed outgoing mail again 😊☝️👍

I just bought iPhone 16 and getting this error. Never happend on my old iPhone 7 Plus.
I’m not experiencing any problems on my Mac but I’m getting these errors on my iPhone 12 Pro. Is there a resolution to this problem?
Remove and add back the account on the device.
This is only a temporary fix. I’ve done this at least 10 times.
Are you running a VPN?
Had the same error on my mail app. Some apps work with internet, some don't. I get notifications for WhatsApp and other apps, but I don't see the updates when I open the apps. After hours of agonizing, I tried removing my VPN. And everything works again.
Question now is, what will happen if I turn on my VPN again.
