I keep on getting problems and error messages on my iPhone 14 in two of my mail-accounts (error POSIX 60). I have the same mail account om my iMac with no problem whatsoever, and my wife has exactly the same accounts on her iPhone-12-Pro but she also does not have any problem nor any error message. I checked all my account settings, but could not find any abnormalities. How can I solve this problem?

I paused my VPN (NordVPN) and the mail came through immediately
Got the same using wifi after update to iOS 18.3. With a 5G connection it continued to work fine. Called apple support and got it working again by swithing-off "Limit IP-address tracking"/
Had the same error on my mail app. Some apps work with internet, some don't. I get notifications for WhatsApp and other apps, but I don't see the updates when I open the apps. After hours of agonizing, I tried removing my VPN. And everything works again.
Question now is, what will happen if I turn on my VPN again.
I had the same problem on my 16 pro. With a mail.ru account.
The solution turned out to be simple, while it helps, you need to switch your phone from cellular to wi-fi. Or vice versa, if you are currently using wi-fi, switch to cellular. All emails will be delivered and you can continue using your mail as usual.
Remove and add back the account on the device.
Error POSIX 60 I think it is Telstra being annoyed that we have a VPN account. Turn off VPN and error resolves. Haven't tried turning on VPN yet :)
I have ExpressVPN and same error message. Turn VPN off and error disappears. NBN should not be able to penalize us for using VPN!
I rebooted my iPhone to get rid of that error message. It worked!!!

I have the same problem with my iPhone 15. I usually end up deleting the accounts from my phone and re-entering them, but it only works for a day or 2. It'd be nice if they'd fix whatever it is that's causing this.
