How can I locate my dead AirPod?

I lost my right earpod last Friday and can’t find it because it’s dead and the only thing that comes up on FindMy is my left one .

Once the battery runs out on an AirPod, you are left with only being able to find it the old fashion way of looking for it. The AirPod would no longer have any power to update the location when near another device or play a sound to locate it. You might be able to see the last known location if there was another device nearby before the battery went dead.
