What happened to the keynote glow effect and tone it showed on the iPhone 16 models?

I loved the keynote effect when they pressed a button it made a delightful sound and a rainbow of color circles around the inside border of the screen. I thought for sure this was going to be a new alert style that would allow you to see when you had notifications without interrupting the screen (or making a noise).

I was really let down that it was just a special effect used in the presentation. Someone said that when they release the AI, it will be for AI, but I'm not so sure. Anybody know anything about it?

The glow is used on new iPhones/iOS versions for Siri/Apple AI highlight (where previous versions used a spinning globe to indicate Siri activation).

I can't think Apple would make it a standard alert style since that would add confusion as to Siri/AI and standard alerts.
