Would it be possible to add support for Volkswagen ID Light for Apple Maps through Carplay? Its works with Volkswagen built in navigator but I prefer to use Apple Maps in the car. Not sure if any Apple devs is monitor this forum but cant hurt to ask :)
No Apple employees participate in these fellow user-supported public communities. There is no explicit CarPlay feedback form, but you might consider sending direct feedback to the Maps for iOS and iPadOS product teams.
Volkswagen is responsible for how it implements CarPlay support into the Vehicle entertainment system and may be deliberately blocking Apple's Maps via CarPlay in favor of their own mapping solution.
