I've erased and tried numerous times to restore/transfer from old ipad to my new ipad with the same results. The Apps & Data part of the restore continues to show "Don't Transfer Anything" and I'm not able to select something different. Any ideas on solutions?

If you are having difficulty with transferring data from old to new iPad, consider setting-up to new iPad "as new" without attempting to transfer data. After setting-up, restore the pre-exist backup of your old iPad to the new device.
