Make sure that your iPhone is setup to meet the following requirements before you attempt to update the iOS version over a Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update: If there is an update available for your iPhone then it will be listed here. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and update your iPhone.

  • Your iPhone must have a fast Wi-Fi connection or a 5G cellular connection. You cannot update over a cellular hotspot
  • Ensure that you do not have a beta updates activated in Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update
  • The iPhone can not be in Low Power mode
  • The battery state of charge must be above 50%
  • Your iPhone must have at least 20GB or more free storage space
  • Your iPhone cannot be connected through VPN
  • You should leave the phone plugged in until it finishes updating, both to assure that it remains above 50% and to keep Wi-Fi enabled (Wi-Fi turns off when the phone sleeps if not connected to power).

If your iPhone 12 Pro is stuck on the software update page, here are a few steps you can try:

1. Force Restart Your iPhone:

- Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.

- Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.

- Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

2. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that your Wi-Fi is stable and connected properly. A weak connection can cause update issues.

3. Try Updating via Computer:

- Connect your iPhone to a computer using a USB cable.

- Open Finder (on macOS Catalina or later) or iTunes (on older macOS or Windows).

- Select your device and see if it prompts you to update or restore.

4. Wait It Out: Sometimes updates can take a while, especially if there’s a lot of data. If it’s still stuck after trying the above steps, give it some more time.

5. Contact Apple Support: If none of these steps work, it might be best to reach out to Apple Support for further assistance.

Hopefully, one of these solutions will get your iPhone up and running!
