macOS High Sierra updates (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012)

Whenever I check for updates on macOS High Sierra, i get the error saying “An error has occurred

The operation couldn't be completed.

(NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.)”. I tried clearing caches, signing out and signing back into App Store, restarting the device, but nothing seemed to work.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?

Try this.. Go on the Apple certificate page:

Apple PKI - Apple

Download the Apple Intermediate Certificates

Apple IST CA 2 - G1 Certificate (direct download)

Double click the downloaded certificate to install it in Keychain Access.

You should see it now, in login certificates.
