Problems with Weather app on Apple Watch

Following the AW update 11.0.1 the weather app started repeatedly asking for permission to use “location”, then the app disappeared from the complication on my AW 9 and the app seems to have disappeared from the apps available on my AW. I have restarted both my AW and my iPhone multiple times, but Weather is still missing. I can’t help but wonder if the AW is searching for the App and Location which is contributing to the Battery Drain that continues after the update to 11.0.1.

I unpaired and re-paired my AW 9 last evening, and 24 hours later the Batter Drain seems to have stopped, my Watch Face hasn't lost a complication and the Weather and Music Apps have been returned to their place in the list of available Apps, and into the Complication on my AW. Thank you for your help.

Are you using a watch face that is no longer available in watchOS 11?

Apple changed the available Watch faces in the newest update.

The Apple Watch User Guide for watchOS 11 lists only these watch faces:

Did you use the weather data for your watch face complication from the default Apple Weather app?

Thank you for your response. I wasn't aware that earlier Watch faces weren't still supported, BUT, the face I use (Infograph) remains on the list. So, I "added" a fresh version, set it up the way I've had it set up (including Apple Weather and Music (both were back on the list of all available Apps) and everything was fine--for a few minutes. IDK if it was when I next stood up or when I started an activity tracker, but the Weather complication went blank, and Music also disappeared. Neither are now on the list of Available Apps. (And the AW is still burning thru the battery.)

I'll report it, as you suggested.
