I can't use paytm and some banking apps in india and App notified to use paytm please update your iphone to ios 17. Even I checked the settings It showed iOS is up to date 16.7.10. I am using my iphone X from past five years and now I can't update iOS 17. Can any one tell from apple developer why can't update is there any bug or steps to update. Also why again need to buy higher model of iphone. It's not good behaviour and For your business perspective apple is suggesting like this? Why again need to buy iphone?

I need steps to update iOS 17 on iphone X. Waiting for your response. Also iOS 17 will support it on iphone X?

Try connecting to iTunes using your Mac or PC and use the Apple Devices app on PC or iTunes on Mac. Click on “Check for Update” or it might say “Update”. Do not click on restore as that will reset your iPhone. If it is the iPhone X then it will not be able to upgrade to iOS 17 or later. It’s not supported.

I just did some research and the iPhone X is out of support and you’re on the latest version that an iPhone X can support so you’re iPhone won’t get to iOS 17 nor 18

First you go to general then click on software update then the phone will check for updates. (Tip: turn automatic updates on). What model of iPhone X have you got as well as there’s a chance that your model of iPhone X is out of support so you cannot update it and it’ll only get security updates.

Yes, if the app developers decide to change their app to only allow new iOS versions to run. Paytm could have very easily allowed iOS 16 to continue to run their app, but instead they chose to abandon you.

After all......what changed? Apple did not change anything. The developers at Paytm decided to change their app. They did not care that millions of users would be affected.
