timelapse using selfie mode not saving

Just bought a new iphone, which is iphone 14. It’s been weeks since I got it, but unlike my last phone (iphone xr), if I timelapse using my selfie mode camera - the video won’t save, unless I use my front camera.

This is new, so I know the memory is not an issue here.

How do I retrieve missing slow motion videos in Image Capture? Recently Image capture does not show slowmo videos shot from my iphone. I use it to watch back my golf swing. It used to work but sometime in the last couple of updates things changed. I couldn't tell you exactly when because I didn't use it over the winter. The last several times I have shot slowmo videos they have not shown up in Image capture and I have to find another way to DL the videos. Anyone have any ideas why it doesn't work anymore?
