MacOS Sequoia 15 Tiling Fn usage interferes Microsoft Excel spreadsheet navigation

This issue started only with the upgrade to Sequoia.

I never had custom shortcuts previously.

I use a typical wireless Apple Keyboard with Function, Control, Option and Command as the 4 keys on the bottom left.

Now in Excel when I attempt to use Fn-Ctrl-Left Arrow, the new Sequoia tiling functions moves the window to the left side of the screen instead of advancing my cursur in Excel to the top left corner (beginning) of my excel spreadsheet.

I know how to create a new shortcut under Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts then choose All Applications, but

1) I have to remove this tiling shortcut first > where do I do this?

2) when I go to type in the new shortcut I choose

Applications - All Applications

Menu Title - Left

Keyboard Shortcut - i cannot type any characters! > How do I add the shortcut I need???

Please help me get my applications to work like before as I am stunted in working efficiently.

I have the same stated issue as the author. I also experience the same secondary issue with establishing a custom shortcut: when I go to type in the new shortcut I choose, Applications - All Applications, Menu Title - Left, Keyboard Shortcut, but then I am not able to enter my shortcut into the shortcut field.

Did you do the setup as per your image in the post on Sequoia? If so, how did you solve this issue?

Thank you! This work around solved the issue for me. Even though the shortcuts themselves are all the same and are NOT the key sequence used in Excel (ctrl + option vs. fn + ctrl), creating those shortcut labels under All Applications somehow confuses the Tiling shortcuts to stop working. My beloved Excel shortcuts ( fn + ctrl + →, fn + ctrl + ←, fn + ctrl + ↑, and fn + ctrl + ↓ ) are now all working.

Thank you!!! Was living a nightmare until I found this. Apple really needs to make disabling this easier.

Imo fire the product manager who didn't think to create an easy option to disable, or to change the shortcut. This is such an important key command for Windows Excel, one of the most important and heavily used applications in the world (which I use through Parallels).

It also interferes with shifting from tab to tab in browsers in Firefox, Chrome, etc on mac.

I'd be interested in using the tiling if I could set to a different key command
