I received a suspicious email telling me that my iCloud account will be restricted because it was used to log someone in from a web browser. I don't know if the message is real or fake because I followed the link in the email and it later asked for my credit card details. please let me know if anyone has been in this situation before and how they did it.

Delete and block the message.

It is a common scam attempt. Do not interact with the message or the sender. Delete the message.
It's fake, just delete it and move on with your day.
