Siri not responding to question with accurate answers,How to fix it?

I have found with the recent Apple update that Siri has become increasingly stupid, , incapable of answering simple questions like what is the temperature outside and Siri will respond “I don’t know where you are“. I hope others are finding the same issues as I am, but Siri is gonna cause a dangerous accident. We’re all becoming more dependent on requesting basic information and we expect it to be consistent. There are times if I’m on the highway and I ask a question she is not able to inform me. The device is becoming critically sarcastic. APPLE should have some kind of protocol where if you tell Siri, she’s stupid or the answer is incorrect that she just doesn’t keep on with the same stupid answers. I thought this version was supposed to be AI, but obviously it is not because she is not learning anything new that I can tell. Please instruct me on how to fix her behavior.

Are you allowing Siri access to your locations at Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Siri?

Apple Intelligence has not been released yet. Apple has always stated it is coming this fall.

As for Siri responding the my location is not known, that has not happened to me. I also haven't noticed Siri becoming sarcastic, although I would welcome a little more humor in the responses. Maybe that will be coming in the future.

If you want to send feedback to Apple, you can do that here:

Yes. While using

I suspect there is a latency issue.

Only once recently did Siri say “I don’t know where you are”. In my house 15’ from the router. Software is updated

Providing Facial Recognition

Asking for an app to open 5-0 Radio

Siri would say “I don't have permission to do that.” Other occasions without Facial Recognition Siri will allow access.

I was under the impression from your original post that it happened all the time. I would not be too concerned if it only happened once. I suppose there are a number of reasons it could only happen once, but do not have a specific answer for you.

As for Facial Recognition and opening the 5-0 Radio app, on my device it has to be unlocked with Face ID before any apps are opened. If I attempt to open an app when the phone is locked, I get a response that I must unlock the phone first. There are some things I can do without authentications such as "Play Music", but opening apps is not one of them.

I have tested opening system apps and third party app and all of them opened. I don't have the 5-0 Radio app, so I did not test with that one. When I attempt to open an app I do not have, it tells me that I don't have it and gives me a button to look for it in the App Store. Not sure what gives the “I don't have permission to do that” response and could not get it no matter what I tried. I also searched these forums and could not find anyone else asking about it, so maybe someone will chime in here with more information about that.
