I have lost my adapter for my Lacie external portable hard drive and cannot connect to my iMac. On this Apple site it shows one for £19, but in the list of devices that it can be used with it does not list my iMac. So can anyone advice please?

I need to connect my Lacie portable HD to my iMac. My Lacie came with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB-C) as per the box. But I've lost it and need to buy another to connect the Lacie to my iMac. Can you point out which one to buy from Apple please?
To the best of my knowledge, no Mac has ever had a lightning port. You're gong to need to figure out exactly what the port is.
