I cannot download any app. It doesn’t give any error statement, it straightforwardly rejects downloading.
I also contacted apples support and some really weird looking number called me back, then said me to wait in the line but after 5 mins I left. Is it normal?

The App Store is currently down for a lot of users, and there are many systems down on Apple’s system status. Keep an eye on that and try again later.

I'm afraid that isn't much to go on. What exactly is happening and how does it differ from whay you expect? Do you have a good Internet connection? Have you tried restarting your device?
