Cellular networks of physical sim and esim are not working with iOS 18.0.1

I upgraded the OS version on my iPhone 11 pro max from 17 to 18.0.1 two hours ago.

Since then, both the networks of my physical sim and esim have been in a cycle of death for 2 mins, coming back to weak signal for 10 secs to only die again. This cycle has been repeating.

I tried resetting the network settings, restarted my phone for more than 3 times now, ran diagnostics as told by apple advisor on chat, nothing worked.

Ironically, the senior support team is only available on phone call. How am I supposed to have a phone call support when my phone is failing me with cellular issues due to an OS upgrade?

There is no proper way to revert back to the older OS version until Apple fixes this issue.

Why isn't Apple providing the option to revert back to the previous OS by a simple click?

Why did Apple push this iOS 18.0.1 update on my phone when it is so nasty that my 1400 USD phone cannot function as a basic phone for calls/sms? What is the point of having it?

I demand Apple team to fix the issues with iOS 18.0.1 ASAP and send a patch or provide an option to revert back to the older working OS version!

There are multiple threads on reddit and apple support on this issue already. I feel unfortunate to have upgraded my phone 2hrs ago & regret not knowing about this issue sooner.

You're not communicating with Apple when you post in the Community. We're all just fellow users, helping out as we have time and knowledge to share. Apple Support does not participate in these forums so your demand, while your frustration is understandable, will not be read by them.

Perhaps someone here will have suggestions they can offer.

Thank you for letting me know, I didn't know that Apple doesn't consider the requests on this forum.

Sounds like I need to drop an email to them or if somebody can share a more effective way, that would be great.

I hope people who haven't yet upgraded their iOS refrain from doing so, at least with 18 or its patches until these connectivity issues are resolved.

I will keep checking here in case somebody would share a safe workaround to get back to the previous OS. The apple advisor on chat told me that there is no official way of doing so.

If I can't get an online resolution soon, I will have to visit an apple service center. I am really stuck with an unreliable phone right now with no incoming or outgoing support for calls (except Wi-Fi).

Regards.
