Last night my itunes wanted me to update my password on my airbook. this morning my phone asked me to enter my new password when trying to download an app. After I put in the new password it will no longer alow any purchases.

The App Store is currently down for a lot of users, and there are many systems down on Apple’s system pages. Keep an eye on that and try again later.
Many reports of App Store issues being reported, so may be an outage that will be resolved shortly. That may be related to the problem you are experiencing. Currently the System Status page does not show a problem with the App Store, but does show a problem with Subscription Purchase. Check here for updates.

To me it appears there are various server related issues. Try again later when they have cleared.
