How can I turn on game mode?

I turned off the game mode while playing a game and I cannot turn it back on. How can I enable it again?

Why doesn't Game Mode automatically turn on for BGMI while it does for other games? My game mode automatically gets on while playing other games but does not get on While playing bgmi and nor i am able to find it in the control center or in settings , why is it so? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Why is Game Mode missing on my iPad Air? Previously, when i used to play games like BGMI( battlegrounds mobile india) my game mode automatically gets turned on and shown above the control centre and there was no lag issue as well but now maybe after update of ios 18.3.2, this game mode isnt available at the top of control centre. I have tried all the troubleshoots restarting the game ,restarting the ipad, logging in and out game centre ,etc. but this problem continues . Please give me a solution!!! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I'm not running iOS 18 – but I suspect you would need to close the game out entirely (so it's not running at all, even in the background), then launch it again.
