2019 Beats Flex headphones do not fit USB-C chargers.

these refurbished flex headphones has a small charging port that a USB-C head is too big to use. I’ve searched sites and gone to BestBuy and they insist USB-C is correct. The opening is just big enough for an iPhone traditional pin, but when I tried it, the device lit up but did not charge. Please help.

apple usb-c to 3.5 mm adapter broken out of box I opened my USB-C to 3.5 MM adapter today and it was broken out of the box. When i plug it into my phone I get this weird static click sound every second or so until I unplug the headphones and very slowly plug them back in. I tested the adapter on my other phones and it had the same issues. This is quite sad as I just spent $9 on this single adapter and haven’t had a minute of use out of it.

Headphones not functioning properly because of usb c port Hello ! Wanted to make this post to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue. I got my iPhone 15 pro max about a year ago and have noticed that over time when I plug my headphones in to the usb c port that over time the headphones are sitting looser and looser in the port itself. Recently, the issue has developed in such a way that my headphones will only produce audio in the left ear and not the right ear unless I hold the cable into the port and angle the cable funky. I thought maybe it could be my headphones but they work just fine when I use them on my laptop. The headphones I'm using are Koss Porta Pros attached to a usb c to 3.5mm apple brand dongle. Like I said the headphones work perfectly when used on other devices just not my phone. Thanks !

AFAIK, there isn't a 2019 model. The first Beats Flex model came out in 2020. All of them use a USB-C port for charging.

their site suggest it is usb-c

Set up and use your Beats Flex earphones after service - Apple Support

maybe the connector in the headset is damaged and a normal usb-c connector will not fit

or maybe the cable you try to connect is damanged

a usb-c connector is suppose to look like the one on the right
