When I am charging my iPad, my apple pen pro stops writing. It will either stop all together or will skip letters. I am in nursing school and need the apple pen pro to work correctly especially when I am taking notes during a lecture. The pen only does this when the ipad is charging. Both were ordered new from factory in July 2024

This could be due to electrical interference from the charging process. I recommend trying a different charging cable or adapter, or charging from a different outlet to see if that helps. You can also try updating your iPad’s software, as sometimes bugs are fixed in updates

I finally bought an apple charger and apple cord off the website NOT the one the ipad came with and I have had no problems. I truly believe it is a circuit issue when charging that there is a glitch that doesn't allow the pencil to stay connected. Maybe try calling Apple Support? GOOD LUCK!!!!
This is getting ridiculous, I'm having the same issues and have been having them since purchasing both items together. I am literally using Apple products to charge.
I've tried others.. same issues.
Turned off bluetooth, turned on bluetooth = works for a few seconds (no, I'm not exaggerating) > stops registering the pencil. It's on and it's working because there's haptic feedback when I squeeze but the ipad doesn't respond.
I'd like a solution where I don't purchase 13 different cords, have to turn bluetooth off then on 28 times, have to restart my ipad.
Also, trying to use this website on (any) mobile is broken.
