What iOS version is pre-installed on a certified refurbished iPhone 13 Pro?

I decided to get a certified refurbished iPhone 13 Pro. Which iOS version does it come with?

Not possible to say, since the current iOS is installed on a refurbished phone at the time that it is refurbished.
For example, if the phone was refurbished 9 months ago, it would have an early version of iOS 17 installed.
If the phone was refurbished 18 months ago, it would have an iOS 16 version loaded.
Unless you are buying directly from Apple, the refurbished phone may or may not have genuine Apple parts installed, despite the claim that the phone is "certified", whatever that might mean.
