iPhone 16 Pro camera crashes

I've had the iP16P for over a week. On multiple occasions the camera stopped working (not taking a photo or showing black screen), either while using the camera button or directly on screen, and then crashed completely. I can only fix it by switching the phone off and on, which makes the camera work again, but the crash eventually happens again.

Anyone else is experiencing this? Is there a fix to this problem yet?

Camera crashing on iPhone 13 mini IOS 17.5.1 The camera app crashes when I press the button to take a photo. Upon the button push, the photo is not taken and the app freezes sometimes. Other times the screen goes black and the app quits altogether. The only immediate fix is to restart the phone. But, the crashing problem keeps coming back. Any ideas?

iPhone 16 Pro camera freezes, requires phone restart Have had issues with camera freezing on iPhone 16 Pro (iOS Version 26.2.1) since I got the device over a year ago. Camera opens up and is usable immediately after restart, but eventually (after several opens) it begins freezing and renders the camera unusable until it the entire phone is restarted again. Doesn't matter how the app is opened. Is not resolved with a simple camera restart - must restart the phone itself. Storage is not the issue (has 50GB remaining). Camera is clean/debris free. Restarting is only a very temporary fix. Was set up initially using my Apple ID with photos going back to 2014. Is there a fix for this or am I just out of luck?
