Preview issues with PDFs

Hi - i have been experiencing substantial issues with Preview not displaying PDFs correctly.

It leaves out especially images, something that works fine in Quick View and Adobe Acrobat displays it perfectly. However, when generating a PDF often images do not show at all - only on Preview. There has got to be a fix for it. I saw in a forum, this seems to be an issue since 2023...

Apple's Preview and the Apple PDFKit framework upon which it is based are not as current as what Adobe keeps current in Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Reader. Consequently, there are certain PDFs that may not display correctly in Preview that do so in Adobe's products.

From what application are you producing that PDF with images that do not display in Preview?
