Malware pop up scam on Iphone
When I was on safari on my Iphone, I received a pop up scam for a virus. I accidentally clicked on open app store. I did not download the app. But since I clicked up app store, do I have a malware on my iphone?

And just because I was curious, I went to the linked site. It presents this simple page:
Clicking the DOWNLOAD button opens the App Store to their useless VPN app.
In other words, it's a scam to get the unwary to download an app that provides no security whatsoever, in the hopes you'll pony up for the In-App purchases.
I WILL be reporting this vendor, and so should you.

Linked page in the scam message no longer responds. The item no longer appears in the App Store. I presume they have been banned.
No, that cannot happen simply by clicking a link. You would have to do something else, like choosing to fill in personal information on the site it sends you to.
The worst that can come of clicking the link - without doing anything else - is they can confirm who responded, and you may now see more of such junk.
You do not have a virus on your phone.
Scam messages are expected on sketchy web sites like the one that you visited.
So clicking on the "open app store" like did not give the hacker/malware access to any of my information?
