Dexcom one+ app freezes Apple Health on iPhone 15, iOS17.7
Troubleshooting Steps undertaken:
- Ensure neither Health nor Dexcom are running
- Start Health, check works ok
- Start Dexcom, check working ok
- Check Health still working ok
- Stop Dexcom
- Change Health settings. to allow Dexcom as data source and save settings
- Stop Health
- Start Dexcom, check working ok
- Start Health
- Tap on any data type e.g. steps, and either the app freezes or the message No Data is received and the Health app freezes.
Contacted Dexcom support who say "our app is working fine - must be Apple problem, contact them" and Apple say the same. Frankly I think that Dexcom are not implementing the datasource connectivity correctly, but there again I'm only a user, so what do I know??
I'm concerned that if someone is using a Dexcom one + continuous glucose monitor and, say some other critical monitor feeding data into Health, that there is a real possibility that information is missing/unseen that could lead to a life-threatening event!
