Iphone 16 Pro Max Focus issue on biometric Verification in Banking Application

In Pakistan a lot of people complaining about focus of iphone 16 pro max in biometric Verification of baking application.

I am also facing same issue, i have 5 banking apps

1- Meezan Bank

2- JS Bank

3- MCB

4- Jazz cash

5- Faysal Bank

Above four have same issue, here some people are asking why banking apps required this. it is not the point , the point is why there is focus issue? Fingerprint verification is security layer we cannot debate on this.Other model of iphone don't have this issue. i hope apple will update soon

This is not an Apple issue. Apple made changes to the cameras in iPhone 16 models the standard lens doesn’t focus as close as it did on earlier models. This can’t be changed because of hardware limitations.

The banks will have to update their apps to allow focus at a further distance or switch to using the macro feature of the ultra wide lens.

On a side note, the banks are not using biometrics. They are not using Face ID which uses a 3D scan using the TrueDepth camera. The bank is comparing two photos, which is what Google does.
