After updating to iPadOS 18.0.1 , I am unable to access bank app

I updated to 18.0.1 and cannot access my bank app. In speaking with my bank I was told that this seems to be happening for iPads and banking apps across the board. DO NOT UPDATE until Apple fixes this!

It's absolutely not happening "across the board". I have no problem accessing Chase from any of my devices including my iPad. FirstBank, if that's what they told you, is trying to pass the buck rather than addressing the problem with their own app. According to the reviews in the App Store, you're not the only one who's been having problems with FirstBank's mobile app, so it would seem likely that they still have work to do.
