Very recently, changing track info in an album has become more difficult. When I try to move from one track to the next sequentially using >, I move to a similarly named track in some other album instead.

It sounds like there is a shuffled list of songs and the arrow buttons are cycling through the list rather than the album. In that case, have you tried going to the songs view
and order the list there by album and see if it fixes the sequencing?
