Ad pops up covering entire iPhone screen - unknown source

An ad pops up on my iPhone's screen suddenly every now and then, I don't know where it comes from neither have I been able to get rid of it. It comes on equally when the phone is locked or unlocked. It's so annoying and interruptive. As in the attached image, I can either accept, cancel, or hit the back button on the top left hand side of the screen.

I wonder if there's a way by which I can check the system messages on my iPhone and learn how to stop this or get rid of it. the text is in Arabic and reads "challenge your friends and enjoy the most important unlimited games"

Appreciate any advice or help on getting rid of this,

Cheers!

I've removed all the apps that have not caused issues for me before i.e. WhatsApp, Telegram. etc, not sure what else I can do, I checked if there any suspicious profiles on my phone or calendar but to no avail. Reckon best is to back-up contacts on my Mac and other important stuff and reset the iPhone and log-in as a new user with my. Apple account/ID.

Thanks for your comment and for trying to help me mate.
