Tiny damage on MacBook

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro from iVenus (Pune, India). I unboxed the device in the store itself right after purchase and noticed a tiny dot on outer side of the lid.

I asked the store to provide me another device but they refused to do so considering that a cosmetic issue.

Is it normal to have such dots/damages on brand new device? if not, wasn't the iVenus store responsible for providing me another device?

I am also facing two other issues on this device,

1- tight hinge

2- loose keys (I've posted here Macbook Loose Keys - Apple Community)

I reached out to apple support and service provider for this but again, they refused.

anyone else faced such issue or have any idea about it?

I think you have to work with iVenus for these issues. The point of unboxing the product in the store is to identify flaws and that is when you could have returned the item for a refund. The above link outlines iVenus policy for returns or refunds. I don't know how much time has gone by now, but you can get a refund if the item is taken back soon enough.

I purchased it at the store on 3rd October 2024, I asked them to replace the device right after unboxing in store itself but they refused to replace saying that's a cosmetic issue in manufacturing, hence I returned taking the device.

Anyways I can bear that dot, but the main issue bothering me a lot now is Macbook Loose Keys - Apple Community. The device has very loose keys, not only one but all keys are loose. I saw this to iVenus store (where I purchased this) and other AASP as well but they are not considering this an issue since the keys are functional.

I can't bear with these keys, they are too noisy and loose. any suggestions what can I do about it?
