Photo editing (markup) not useable since finger swipe moves the photo.

iPad affected. iPhone edit feature OK. Software update current. 17.7

The edit button results in a dark border and new edit options. Select "markup" and a finger swipe moves the photo instead of making the desired line on the photo.

look under Settings, Apple pencil

there is a setting named “only draw with apple pencil”, which you need to switch off to draw with your fingers
