AirPods Max Quality Doubts – Original or Not?

A few months ago, I bought AirPods Max on Vinted for $250, advertised as new. They look and behave like the real thing (animations, warranty, weight, etc.), but I have doubts about the quality. The sound is good but not what I expected for headphones that cost $550. The battery lasts only 5-7 hours, and I’ve had issues with connectivity and annoying distortions in sound. They seem original, but I have no comparison. Should I report a scam, try the warranty, or visit an Apple store?
