Crown scroll issues on my Apple Watch after the watchOS 11.0.1 update

Since updating to watchOS 11 the crown has been less reliable in its ability to scroll to reveal the Smart Stack on home. Scrolls fine in every other instance, but on home it might work immediately or i might literally just scroll forever to never reveal Smart Stack.

This is happening on my brand new Watch 10 with OS 11.0.1 and I noticed it on my old Watch 8 (also noticed once upgrading to OS11). This is on every watch face for me.

Solution: despite this Watch being brand new and the crown having issues out of the box (ie. sticking at times and being unresponsive at other times), before making a Genius Bar appointment I gave the Apple suggested cleaning method a try.

Oddly enough, the crown is moving like butter now.

Did you already force restart your watch?

To force restart the watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

If this does not work, you should let Apple know directly about this issue by using the Feedback link, as this is the only way to reach them.

Sorry, that unpairing the watch did not help to get the function of the Digital Crown back to normal.

Yes I have force restarted. Unpaired and redid the whole process to see if that would clean out any kind of corrupt OS cobwebs. Nothing doing.
