Use ethernet and wifi together

I would like to connect Ethernet to my Apple TV 4K while providing 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi to My Internet of Things network.

My setup:

ASUS RT-AX86U Pro router with separate 5G and 2.4G networks.

Apple TV 4K iOS 18

iPhone 16 Pro Max iOS 18

Leviton smart switches

Hunter smart ceiling fans

Everything works correctly in Apple HomeKit while it's set up on the 2.4 gigahertz network.

When I plug the Ethernet cable into the Apple TV box, Apple HomeKit no longer sees the devices or the Apple TV 4K.

My goal:

Have Apple TV 4K plugged into Ethernet.

Have all the smart devices set up in Apple TV HomeKit working on the 2.4 gigahertz network.

Have my iPhone working on the 5 gigahertz network.

Is this setup possible?

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 18

So far, I've had no success. My router happily supplies all three connection types. The problem is with the Apple TV 4K. When it is connected to wifi, it stutters while streaming.

Is this setup possible with Apple TV 4K or HomePod?
