WSJ App not working

All of a sudden my WSJ digital App is not working. It says I’m offline on both IPad and IPhone which is incorrect. All other Apps are working including the WSJ print edition App. I’m waiting on feedback from the WSJ IT team but it’s been almost a week. Is anyone else having this problem? I was running OS 17.7 and updated both devices to OS 18.0.1 hoping that would fix it but it did not.

First try a forced restart, if that doesn't work reinstall the app. If that doesn't work contact the app developer for help with their software.


Try a forced restart.


• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Thanks. I already did all of that. I’m waiting for a reply from WSJ/Dow Jones customer service who created a technical support ticket. Interestingly, following your suggestions I saw the last update of the App was 2 wks ago. That’s right about when I saw the problem. I was just wondering if anyone else has the WSJ digital app subscription and has the same problem.
