Can I load the WSJ print edition app on my iPad 2?

Can I still load the WSJ print edition app onto Ipad2? I tried, it loaded the App fine, but when I get to the ACCOUNT tab, I get "Oops, something went wrong Invalid request: redirect_uri, https% ... Setup is not allowed

Hey Carol, that's not the App in question. It's the WSJ Print Edition app, not the standard WSJ app.

It requires iOS 11.0.

Hey Carol, that's not the App in question. It's the WSJ Print Edition app, not the standard WSJ app.

Then you answered your own question. The app can be loaded onto the iPad, but given the age of iOS 9 at this point, its probably unable to negotiate a connection to the WSJ service anymore.


Probably the WSJ service requires higher security than the iPad can handle or the connection process changed and the old app version can't connect to it anymore.
