apple id got lock now cant sign out on ipad

Its now fix ehhehe soo i hesitated to reformat my ipad but sticked to my guys and now i resetted it so it showed ipad is locked with the owner so i continued putting password to the wifi then it asked me to login with the old ipad account but since its locked i didnt know what to do but then i saw the use previous passcode soo i used it since i use one passcode for everything it worked now it asked me to login to a new account or create a new one now my account is free

I dont know what happend but i still have access to the email of the said account it is just the apple account whose in shambles now i cant even log out of the device and it keeps asking for the password but when i put the password it says Unknown error
