“non-genuine” camera notification

hi, i dropped my phone (13 pro) the other day and a little later i went to open the camera. the camera was all black and frozen. after restarting my phone the camera works, but i got a notification saying the camera wasn’t a genuine apple part. i’ve never replaced this camera so i don’t know why it’s saying that. any help?

This message will show up if the camera is damaged as well which happened when you dropped the phone.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.
