Iphone 13 - Did Apple mess with video stabilization?

I feel my iphone used to make smooth videos. Now with the new drop of their new phones I feel like I have shakey hand syndrome or something. My videos are so shaky and all over the place as if I were on a boat! I tried to google a fix and all articles are dated well before the last few months and I don't even SEE the option in Settings>Camera>Video to toggle anything to do with stability! Any insights?

Video tearing / artifacts when rotating screen during playback. iPhone 17 pro max, iOS 26.2 - I have my camera set to 4k @ 120fps. I can record videos with no issue, but when I play them back and rotate the screen and the video gets compressed from full screen to a smaller aspect ratio, the video starts to distort/tear and show bright green lines. If I rotate the screen so that the video is full screen again, the video clears up and is normal. If I let the distortion go on long enough, the phone will crash and reset itself. I will note that so far, that at lower resolution/fps recording, the issue does not happen. I’m wondering if this is a software bug in iOS, or a hardware issue decompressing video? My iPad m5 and an older iPhone 15PM do not have the issue. -t Edited for grammar

Camera on iPhone 13 shaky on 1x after iOS 26.0.1 update So i just updated my device to the latest software version which was ios 26, so i noticed my camera on 1x being shaky and so i thought maybe it was just a bug or my camera lens was blurry, and so After i received the latest update which is ios 26.0.1 i updated it to see if the issue was fixed, but no im still facing the same issue where the camera on 1x is shaky and it also does it on video, 3rd party apps.
