Unable to Share Location on iPhone

I have verified that I have turned on all the “share my location” feature but it is not functioning.

under the Find My > people, I tried sharing my location and it isn’t allowing me.

I tried sharing through text, and I receive the error message of “unable to share location at this time.”

I tried resetting all settings and went through the steps of checking the settings through

settings>privacy security> location services> its on.

I have also updated my phone and my data signal and wifi signal are both strong

not sure what else to do

I am able to receive someone else’s location share but cannot share my location with others
