Hello, I’d like to learn how to turn off the sent text message noise while still keeping my incoming text message alerts? Has anyone figured out a way to do this? Looks like ppl have been asking since 2017 . It will probably be my make or break to go to a different phone since I need text alerts for work. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you

To the best of my knowledge … no , only for sent email . These are the settings where I checked : message app , notifications , sounds & haptics and accessibility .
SteelCityAnne is correct. You can't turn that off.
If that small thing is the excuse you need to move to a different kind of phone, go for it.

Extra.....what? It appears that you left out a word. The swoosh only sounds when you send a message. It has no direct effect on your ability to leave text notifications enabled. It's a very small user interface component that you could probably learn to ignore if you chose to. But again, if you want to buy an Android phone, go for it.
